Me and My Art

I create artwork from my home in beautiul Devon, crafting pieces that are as individual as the people who commission them.

I sometimes get asked.....- " What does your art say?" My philosophy is always that "Every Picture tells a story,” and my art will always do its upmost to capture the stories, memories, and emotions for the individual.

My Art journey began long before I might ever call myself an artist. As a 10‑year‑old growing up in Bristol, I spent a summer wandering in and out of the Trapdoor studios, just around the corner from where I lived. I’d sit for hours sketching creatures and castle sets while watching Terry Brain and Steve Box — who would later become part of Aardman Animation — bring characters to life through the magic of plasticine. That imaginative, hands‑on world has left a lasting mark on me.

Bristol itself shaped my creative outlook. Surrounded by the rise of Banksy and a city alive with street art and multimedia expression, I grew up in a place where creativity was part of the landscape. I went on to study Art and Ceramics for 7 years through school and college, grounding that early inspiration in technique and craft.

Now, older (Much older) and living in Devon, I’m blessed to be surrounded everyday by stunning scenery and wildlife that continue to influence my work and the stories I write. The coastline, moors, forests, and ever‑changing light all find their way into the stories and textures of the pieces I create.

Today, those influences — from childhood animation studios, through Bristol’s street art to Devon’s natural beauty — come together in the work I produce:

Playful yet thoughtful, nostalgic yet contemporary.

However you may perceive my work - It will always be personal. Whether you’re looking for a piece that tells your story or a unique artwork for someone special, I’d love to bring your story to life.
